WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA. – 8/04/10 - Chad Hudson Events, one of Hollywood’s leading event production companies, is celebrating the most recent decision in the Prop 8 legal battle.
They are gearing up for the wave of wedding business that will follow as same-sex marriages move forward once again in California.
From producing major film premiere events such as the 5,000 person Twilight Saga: Eclipse premiere, to more intimate gatherings such as their weekly WeHo Supper Club at NOBU and other restaurants, Chad Hudson Events is no stranger to pulling out all the stops to make a celebration unforgettable.
The ruling from this court bodes well for giving the LGBT community the same rights so many others take for granted," said Chad Hudson. Adding, “many same-sex couples have been waiting for so long for Prop. 8 to be overturned and now countless numbers of couples who didn’t have the chance to get married before Prop 8 passed can begin planning!”
Hudson feels the next wave of same-sex marriages will be even more elaborate than what he’s seen prior to Prop 8. “These hopefully will be not only commitments of a couples’ love for each other, but also celebrations of equal rights. We see a gradual bounce back in the economy in the event world so we think this may also be reflected in the LGBT wedding ceremonies and receptions.”
In addition, Hudson predicts many ceremonies will take place in symbolic locations such as West Hollywood, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Napa Valley; which coincidentally are all locations that Chad Hudson Events has vast experience working in.
