Sanctuary is hosted by Rhea Litre' every Thursday Night.

Nova Cayne (the long lost sister of Candis Cayne) experienced her debut performance of Olivia Newton Johns "Physical" last night @ The Abbey Food & Bar. Candis Cayne was out of town filming so The Abbey brought in Ingenue, Chad Michaels, Delta Work and Nova Cayne to entertain the crowd.

Nova Cayne then made her way to Cheyne Hauk's "Metro Mondayz" @ FUBAR to close out the night with performances by Glamorous Monique, Detox and Rhea Litre'

The Abbey Food & Bar hosts a community reading of the “West Hollywood Musical Project”

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – 4/25/10 – The Abbey Food & Bar will host a community reading of the Complications a musical commissioned to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the founding of West Hollywood. presented by Cornerstone Theater Company on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 during happy hour from at 5:30-9pm.

The community reading gives the general public a chance to come together, socialize, hear the script, hear a song or two and give their feedback to the musical team. Come share your thoughts on the story, the characters, the songs, the lyrics- anything you want to share. It’s your chance to be a part of the play creation process.

SBE and The Abbey Food & Bar hosted its annual Oscar viewing party, “The Envelope Please,” a benefit for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA). VIPs and celebrities joined Abbey Founder & President David Cooley for a formal sit-down dinner and live video feed of the awards ceremonies. Following the awards The Abbey was transformed into the ultimate Oscar after-party, as attendees danced into the wee hours of the morning.

Celebrities attending included: Lance Bass (*Nsync/DWTS); Candis Cayne (ABC’s DirtySexyMoney); Brayden Pierce (Melrose Place); and Bobby Trendy (Anna Nicole Show).

On "Oscar Eve" Olympic Ice skater Johnny Weir came by the Abbey to share a few lighthearted moments at West Hollywood’s famed hot spot, the Abbey Food & Bar, voted the #1 Gay Bar in the World by MTV’s LOGO.

"Toys for Haiti" Drive @ The Abbey Food and Bar

LOS ANGELES,CA - The Abbey will host a charity event "Toys for Haiti" on Sunday February 28th, 2010 in conjunction with SBE to benefit Haitian orphans after the recent earthquake. There are an estimated over 380,000 orphans currently residing in Haiti that need simple aid such as food, water and shelter. "Toys For Haiti" is a toy drive fundraiser for "The Hands and Feet Project", a non profit organization that is providing hope and aid to Haitian children.

The event will be held from 6-9pm. Guests will bring toys to donate to the orphanage which is situated in a children's village in Jacmel, Haiti. Toys will also be available for purchase at the event; 100% of the money is going directly towards food and water supplies for the children's village. All donations will be honored by drink sponsor Krol Vodka; a strong supporter of Haitian relief.

The Jacmel orphanage was started by band, Audio Adrenaline in 2004. Mark Stuart, the founder of The Hands and Feet Project, created the children's orphanage with the vision of raising a generation of orphans who will have the means to grow into men and women that can become leaders in their Haitian communities.

SBE is an avid campaigner for Haitian relief and the restoration of Haiti.

SBE and The Abbey Food & Bar Present “The Envelope Please” Oscar® Viewing Party Benefiting APLA, Sunday, March 7, 2010 – 4pm

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif.— 2/08/2010 – SBE and The Abbey Food & Bar present West Hollywood’s favorite Oscar viewing party, “The Envelope Please,” a benefit for AIDS Project Los Angeles, happening on Sunday, March 7, 2010 starting at 4pm. The Abbey Food & Bar is located at 692 N. Robertson Ave in West Hollywood.

Originally started in 2001 by Abbey Founder & President David Cooley and Event Producer Jeffrey Sanker, “The Envelope Please” is The Official Oscar Viewing Party for APLA, and has become as famous as The Abbey itself as one of Hollywood’s most exciting awards night events.

Keeping with the times, this year’s festivities will be open to the public and free of charge with big screen monitors set up throughout the Abbey for fans to gather and watch the awards live, beginning at 5pm. SBE will make a donation to APLA that evening, in celebration of the event.

Says Abbey Founder/President David Cooley, “Dress to impress; this is the night for fashionable attire as you work your way down The Abbey’s Red Carpet for a paparazzi-style photo opportunity.” Adding, “On Hollywood’s biggest night, The Abbey will be decked out with a glamorous makeover on the most prestigious night of the year, for a great cause.”

From the time Red Carpet arrivals begin at 4pm until end of the Oscar telecast, anyone making a $25 donation to APLA receives any drink of their choice, compliments of The Abbey.

As winners are announced, enjoy The Abbey’s exclusive Oscar prix fixe dinner menu served from 4pm.
