Blake Lewis has released his sophomore album, Heartbreak on Vinyl. This American Idol Season 6 alumni has sold over 350,000 copies of his debut album, which earned him a spot in the top ten on the Billboard Charts. Blake has been catering to the Gay Community in a major way! He performed last year at LA Gay Pride and love him for it! Blake’s unique persona as not only a singer-songwriter, but DJ and beat-boxer gives us just what we need to dance through the night! His first single, “Sad Song” is out with a MAXI-Single with Remixes galore… care to dance?

1. It has been quite a while since your American Idol days, what has changed?Every day life has changed in that I'm recognized in the streets and chatting with people around the world. I'm constantly doing interviews as well. My perception of myself as an artist has stayed the same though. Still hustling, still working hard and making music.

2. I saw you at Los Angeles Gay Pride last year and you were AMAZING on stage. You’re really catering to the GLBT community. Why us? Dance music has been embraced by the gay community for a long time, and I've been doing dance music for 10-12 years. It's a form of freedom we both identify with.

3. The entertainment industry can eat you alive. How do you stay so focused and driven? By constantly working and spending a lot of time in my hometown of Seattle. Seattle is a very lax community. Being here with my friends and family keeps me humble. Plus, staying focused and constantly busy, reaching out to fans world wide helps to keep me on track.

4. What has inspired you to create music? My mom inspires me and I inherited love for music since I was little.

5. What are you currently listening to in your iPod/ mp3 player? Owl city, Discovery, Jamie Lidell, Glitch Mob, and of course, lots and lots of electronic music

6. Is there one song that you have heard that you connected with on such a level that you wish you had written it? Message In A Bottle by The Police. I love that song and especially love performing it live.

7. Give us 5 words that would accurately describe a Blake Lewis performance. Fun, energetic, spontaneous, interactive, unique

8. If you had to pick ONE artist to sing with dead or alive who would it be? Michael Jackson

9. What is next for Blake Lewis? I'm really excited to be playing at Atlanta Pride the first week in November

10. Are there any final thoughts that you would like to say to your fans? Thanks for all your support.....Stay positive through unity
